DIY Pretty Notebook with Stickel Co Stickers
A few weeks ago I discovered that a lovely friend of mine, Kelly had set up an Etsy shop Stickelco selling the most beautiful stickers. She specialises in planner stickers, particularly ones that fit the Erin Condren range. However, she also designs the cutest stickers, my faves being the doughnuts and the teacups! There are new sticker releases every week so be sure to check them out!
All Theseglitteryhands Readers can get 15% off when you spend £5 with the code JUNEPAYDAY15 (valid until the 5th of July 2015) at the Stickelco Etsy shop.
Kelly sent me a few of the most beautiful sticker sheets, so I wanted to show how diverse these stickers are by adding them into a DIY. I will be sticking them into my diary too (I love the payday ones!) but thought these deserved to have something extra special done with them.
So here’s a simple way to jazz up a boring notebook, making it the envy of all your friends!
You will need:
- A plain Notebook, I choose this one from Wilkinsons. £1.50
- Glitter Paper
- Stickelco Teacup Stickers (Find them here!)£2.00
- StickelCo Doughnut Stickers (Find them here!)£2.00
- Stickelco Colourful Alphabet Stickers (Find them Here!)£3.00
- Glue (Pitt Stick or similar)
- Sticky Back Plastic
Cut out a piece of glitter paper (I’ve chosen pink, no surprises) that is around two centimetres wider than the front of your notebook.
Glue the glitter paper to the front of the notebook.
Then cut a triangle shape into the two outer corners, this will allow you to fold the paper over to create a neat edge. Glue into place.
Position your beautiful stickers! This was my favourite part. I used three of the teacup stickers in the centre of my notebook.
I then added the quote “Tea is Life ” using the Alphabet sticker sheet underneath.
Add a layer of sticky back plastic on top to keep everything, neat and in place.
I also created another notebook cover with the doughnut sticker sheet, because it’s sooooo pretty! Check it out!
*Please note I was gifted the stickers for this post, Thank you Kelly!
