DIY  Floral Button Badges

I can’t get enough of self-cover buttons! They are such an easy way of making a button to match and outfit or to update upholstery. They also make great badges!

These floral button badges are a great way of using up those leftover scraps of material to create something super cute and unique to pin onto a jacket.

You will need:

  • Self-cover buttons
  • Floral fabric
  • Scissors
  • All Purpose Glue
  • Pin badge blank
  • Needle and thread

Step One:

Cut out a square of fabric big enough to cover the front of your button.

Step Two:

Using a needle and thread, sew a rough running stitch around the edge of the fabric.

Place on the button, then pull the thread tight and tie off.

Step Three:

Push down the back of the button and cut off any threads.

Push down the back of the button and cut off any threads.

Step Four:

Glue the Badge to the back of the button using all-purpose glue.

Add to a jacket and you are good to go!
