DIY Faceted Stone Ring

Here’s the third DIY for this months Gems and Jewels Glittery Hands Box. There are so many uses for Fimo clay, I can’t wait to see what you make with yours!

Here’s an idea for a super cute faceted stone ring, super quick and easy to make but with all of the style points!

You will need:

  • Metallic Silver Fimo Clay*
  • Craft Knife
  • Ring Blank*
  • Strong Glue
  • Oven at 110’c

Step One:

Take a Quarter of your Fimo Clay and Roll it into a ball.

Step two:

Cut the ball of clay in half using a craft knife.img_2505-copy

Step three:

Using the craft knife, Start shaving away the surface of the clay to create facets. Be brave!img_2506-copy

Step four

Pop your faceted clay carefully onto greaseproof paper of foil and pop it into the oven. Be sure to double check the packaging for oven temperatures.

Leave it for around thirty minutes, until its is hard.

Once it has cooled down, glue it onto the ring blank using strong glue.img_2535-copy
